And now it is Christmas Eve… I almost can’t believe I made it.That

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring not even a mouse,

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care in hopes that Saint Nicholas soon would be there.

The candles were lit, the fire was stoked, our bellies are full of delicious tortiere, Grand fathers recipe, and now the children are tucked snugly into their beds.

Grandma and Grandpa have arrived on Wednesday, and we’ve had a lovely visit. It is wonderful to have him here for all of us... but especially for the children.

We are So Lucky!!

So now all that is left to do is wait for Santa Claus and enjoy!!

Happy holidays everyone, I wish you all much peace and love and happiness!

See you in 2008!!

And much peace and love to you too. And fun during Christmas with those darlings as well.

Don't forget to let the grandparents take the kids while you and your partner get a wee break or while you sit quietly and paint or read or whatever a moment for you is.

Best for 2008!

You're so busy I apologize in advance for 'tagging' you on my blog. But have a read and feel free to pass it along or not.

HOpe Christmas was great. I'm still pondering your question about posting on the monastic years...

My Christmas was a lot of the same. Rush rush and hoping for time to take a deep breath when Christmas eve arrives. We actually had time to watch a movie together... at home and in bed. :)

What we have been up to...
